Back in the 80's there was a Captain America issue where he has to gun down a terrorist to save hostages, and it was a big deal, both in the comics world and the Marvel universe. Now he's just another gun-toting hero. (Or that's the impression I get.)
he's not. Steve Rogers still thinks guns are for pussies and kind of shuns them, not to a Batman degree though.
Bucky, who is cap right now, never gave a fuck and gunned down Nazis all the time in WW2. So he uses a gun.
Ultimate Cap used a gun in WW2 and then maybe in modern times? Unsure. I think they're basing the movie's WW2 look more on him, and he used a gun in WW2.
Wow, that was a long explanation. So yeah Bravo Steve Rogers is still gun free.
Original Bucky is the Cap now, right? I always loved the story with the The Grand Director/Cap's Bucky. That was Jack Monroe who eneded up getting killed by Jack Barnes/Bucky/Winter Soldier...its like a soap opera.
yeah, James Buchanan Barnes is Cap. all of Brubaker's Cap run is pretty awesome, and it is like the perfect soap opera for deadbeat man-children, as PLP mentioned
